Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, and titanium, providing excellent resistance to corrosion, especially in harsh environments like acidic and chloride-rich conditions. The composition includes approximately 38-46% nickel, 19-23% chromium, 2.5-3.5% molybdenum, and 1.5-3% copper. Its mechanical properties include high tensile strength (up to 620 MPa), excellent creep and stress rupture strength, and good ductility. The alloy is also resistant to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and oxidation, making it ideal for applications in chemical processing, power generation, and marine environments.
