Monel Channels are composed of nickel (63–70%) and copper (20–29%), with small amounts of iron, manganese, silicon, and carbon enhancing strength and stability. This nickel–copper alloy provides exceptional corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and acidic or alkaline conditions. Mechanically, Monel offers a tensile strength of 480–620 MPa, yield strength around 170–345 MPa, and elongation of 30–40%, depending on the grade and processing. With excellent toughness, weldability, and resistance to stress corrosion cracking, Monel Channels perform reliably in high-pressure, high-temperature, and chemically aggressive environments.
