Stainless Steel 347H Angle is a high-temperature, stabilized austenitic stainless steel designed for superior performance in environments involving continuous heat exposure. Known for its stability during welding and thermal cycling, Stainless Steel 347H Angle is widely used in furnace components, petrochemical systems, and heat-intensive structural frameworks requiring dependable mechanical performance.
Stainless Steel 347H Angle typically contains 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and a higher carbon content of 0.04–0.10% to enhance high-temperature strength. It is stabilized with niobium and tantalum to prevent carbide precipitation during welding and prolonged heat exposure. Mechanically, 347H provides a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, yield strength of approximately 205 MPa, and elongation near 40%. Its excellent creep resistance, oxidation stability, and reliable performance at temperatures up to 900°C make it suitable for thermal and high-stress applications.
