Titanium Grade 2 (Gr 2) is commercially pure titanium, composed primarily of titanium (99%) with small amounts of iron (0.1-0.3%) and oxygen (0.18%). This composition ensures excellent corrosion resistance, especially in saltwater and acidic environments. Mechanical properties of Titanium Gr 2 Channel include a tensile strength of around 350 MPa, yield strength of approximately 275 MPa, and elongation of 20%. It has a density of 4.51 g/cm³ and is highly resistant to stress corrosion cracking. Gr 2 titanium offers great weldability, formability, and is widely used in aerospace, marine, and chemical industries.
